Contributors correspond to the different entities that are mentioned in the creation of a release, and could be :
- an author, composer or translator
- an editor
- a label
- a legal structure: this can correspond to one holder of exploitation rights or the owner of the recordings or the release (generally a distributor or a producer). It can then be a individual company, NGO or company.
Remark : It is mandatory that the contributor file corresponding to the owner of the recording is complete, in particular the bank details, so that the income related to the tips is sent to this entity.
Modify a contributor file
You can manage your contributors in your TopMusic for Artists account by clicking on Settings > My contributors in the drop-down menu at the top right, or by clicking here. You can then modify the contributor files of the contributors you have access to.

To request access to a contributor, contact support by clicking on the following link.
You automatically have access to the contributor files of the contributors you create.

It is only possible to create contributors by creating a new release.

In the TopMusic application, the credits mentioned per music track are as follows:

Edit a contact of a contributor
For the creation of a legal structure (in the fieldsOwner of exploitation rights, Outlet owner, Record Owner), you are asked to give at least one contact.
You can add a new contact by clicking + Add additional contact. To delete a contact, you can check the box Delete contact.The deletion will be effective only after clicking on validate.
Remark : in the Parameters / My contributors page of the TopMusic for Artists interface, the same contributor may appear several times. Indeed, if for example an author is also a composer (on the same work or a different work) then it will appear twice. Of course, if you modify one you modify the other.
