Exploitation rights

When creating a release, you are asked to specify whether you have granted the digital exploitation rights of this project to another legal structure by signing a License agreement. And if so, specify the legal structure. In general, it is the licensee if you are in a license agreement.

You can either select the legal structure from the drop-down list or create a new legal file if you cannot find it in the list.

The owner(s) of the release

This is the legal structure (company or association) that financed the recording of the release.

• If you are self-produced (i.e. you self-financed the recordings), then this is your personal structure (micro enterprise, association, company).
• If you have signed a contract with a label, the latter is not necessarily the producer (owner of the recording). In the case of a license agreement, he may be the owner of the exploitation rights, without having ownership of them. Please check your contract carefully or contact the label.

Important

The revenues generated by the platform related to the tips are paid to the Owner of the exploitation rights, or to the owner(s) of the release if there is no exploitation contract.
